NOVEL SMART VACCINE VIAL MONITORING SYSTEM

This application detects a breach in the temperature range of the vaccine carrier and automatically locks the box to prevent the administration of the compromised vaccine.

A vaccine cold chain is a system of storing and transporting vaccines at the recommended temperature range from the point of manufacture to the point of use. Cold chain logistics are a constant challenge for the healthcare supply chain. Therefore, expertise in managing the storage of vaccine vials is important. 

Salient features of our Novel Smart VVM system:

  • A temperature sensor to detect the change in the temperature of the vaccine vials.
  • A smart lock that automatically locks the vaccine carrier box if the recommended vaccine vial temperature is breached.
  • Geotagging system to provide the location details of the compromised vaccine.
  • A connected system to upload the real-time data to the cloud, an Artificial Intelligence algorithm to support the system, an SMS/email alert system.
  • A dashboard for data analytics and reporting.
